Craig McMillan

Craig has been a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) since May of 1990 with almost 30 years of service.  He has worked in uniform, street crimes, bike and drug sections in Canada's second largest RCMP Detachment Burnaby, British Columbia before transferring to Internal Affairs.  Craig is a qualified drug expert at both the Provincial and Supreme Court levels in over 20 various types of controlled drugs.

 

Craig currently holds the rank of sergeant and is the longest serving member both provincially and nationally within the RCMP Professional Standards Units having worked in Internal Affairs/Professional Responsibility for over 17 years.  Craig is the lead facilitator on the RCMP's national Workplace Responsibility Investigators Course and has conducted internal investigations throughout Canada.

 

Craig has been a member of the NIAIA since 2002 and has served on the Regional Executive Committee on and off for around 14 years.  Craig has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology and French from the University of Manitoba.  He enjoys both playing sports and coaching, spending time with family, and collecting single malt scotch!
